On 1st July 2012, the world-renowned Riva marque celebrated its 170th anniversary with the spectacular Aquarama Parade in the Hercule Port of Monaco, bringing together dozens of legendary vintage Riva motorboats in a unique tribute to the brand's heritage.
The occasion was made particularly special as it coincided with the 90th birthday of Carlo Riva, the visionary creator of the iconic Aquarama and one of the most influential figures in luxury boating history. Carlo Riva witnessed a remarkable flotilla of classic Rivas gathered in his honour against the glamorous backdrop of Monaco. Laurence Hawthorne was in attendance and recorded the scene.
