Since the 1970s, we have enabled manufacturers to scale efficiently with reliable converting lines. We design and build automatic slitting and rewinding systems that support stable output and low total costs. Our engineering team works with you to match materials, widths and speeds. Each line combines slitting, winding and handling into a robust, easy-to-operate solution with clear return on investment.
As a trusted supplier to leading nonwoven and technical textile producers, our focus is on uptime, roll quality and safety. We apply a solution-oriented approach, covering audits, layout, line control and after-sales service. Whether your process uses in-line slitting or off-line converting, our automatic slitting and rewinding lines deliver proven performance and reliability across many facilities.
Our slitter/rewinder platforms are built for wide webs and heavy rolls. You can process up to 5.1 m in web width and roll weights around 2000 kg. Each line features shaftless unwinders, accumulators, cross cutting units and edge trim handling (30–50 mm). Every module is designed for safe operator access, short changeovers, and precise tension control.
Choose in-line slitting for seamless process integration after web forming, or opt for off-line converting to increase flexibility. We supply twin roll slitters and centre-driven slitters to suit your material types and core sizes. Three-knife slitting systems are available for typical slit widths of 40–100 mm. Automated speed and tension control helps you achieve clean slitting edges and repeatable roll quality.
Each automatic slitting and rewinding line is configured for your products and process requirements. Industries served include geosynthetic products, geotextiles, construction nonwovens, felts, spunlace, airlaid, artificial leather, faux leather, plastics and polyethylene film. We can test and document settings, so your operators always start with confidence.
Our systems feature Siemens S7 PLCs for recipe management, speed and tension control, and drive synchronisation. The HMI provides clear system status, alarms and maintenance feedback. You can add modules for automatic knife positioning, web guiding, dust extraction, and roll identification. Packaging and rewinding can be integrated to form a complete converting cell.
Safety and efficiency are central to every solution. Knife access, guarding, and interlocks comply with EU norms. Roll carts, core chucks, and handling systems are selected to reduce operator strain and speed up changeovers.
With over 40 years of experience in slitting and winding technology, we support line layout, utilities, and automation for reliable integration. We collaborate closely with your production and quality teams to deliver consistent and reliable roll output every shift.
Comprehensive documentation, training and remote support are included. Spare parts and upgrade options are available to keep your automatic slitting and rewinding line in top condition. Our support helps minimise downtime and lengthen the service life of your investment.
